May Yahweh answer your prayer of distress.
May you be protected by the authority of Jacob’s God.
May your worship lead to his help.
May support flow from Zion.
May he see your offerings and smile on them.
May your dearest dreams come true.
May your plans succeed.
May your friends throw you a victory party.
May God be honored when we’re honored.
May you get everything you pray for.
If I know anything, I know this:
Yahweh’s messiah-king wins.
God answers him from heaven’s sanctuary,
Supporting him with all his might.
Some trust in the weapons of war,
But we trust in Yahweh alone.
He’s our God
And we know him by name.
Others crumble and fall,
But we rise and stand tall.
Yahweh, make your king triumphant!
Give an emphatic “Yes!” to our prayers.
