The best thing ever
The absolutely happiest thing possible
Is when God’s family lives peacefully together,
Unbroken.
This holy wholeness
Is like anointing oil
Setting us apart for God —
Soaking into hair and beard and priestly clothes,
Soaking into our very hearts
With the vocation of reconciliation.
This joyful togetherness
Is like refreshing dew
Bringing life to the land,
As if the thick dew of the highest peaks
Could water Zion.
For worship springing from unity
Spills out on the whole land,
Sharing Yahweh’s good life with everyone.
