Psalm 119 (R is for Tsadhe)

Right-loving and right-doing.
That’s you, Yahweh.
And your laws match you perfectly.
Righteous statutes
Laid down by you
Are worthy of our full trust.
Run down and weary
Because of my zeal,
I get so worked up by my haters
Who turn their noses up at your words.
Rigorous,
Having stood the test of time,
Your promises are dear to me.
Ridiculed and ridiculous
Though I am,
I still don’t forget your precepts.
Right and just to the end of time,
Your torah-way is consistent,
True.
Rocked by trouble from every side,
I turn to your commands
And find happiness again.
Righteous always,
Your statutes give me understanding,
Leading to life in the fullest.
